One must first and foremost have come to the knowledge and revelation of God almighty and realize that Jesus Christ was God robed in flesh. Man can help lead you to scriptures but just like salvation it is God and God alone who reveals himself to you. Paul was struck down on the road to Damascus when God revealed it to him. Although it took a man of God to teach him, It was God who gave him the revelation.
Passion – This will fuel you in your journey to your goal. The greater the passion, the greater the ability to overcome opposition. Passionate People create a passionate atmosphere. A man with a great passion is determined to succeed no matter what the cost. A man finds a treasure in a field, he will then do everything within his power to purchase that field or maybe he is one that can NOT hold his peace.
Jeremiah 20:9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones , and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.
Belief and Values – What values do you possess? Morals and Integrity? What we believe in will become solid and it is what makes us. If you have weak beliefs you will be a weak person. Remember people with strong beliefs are not easily swayed or blown about by every wind of doctrine
Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine , by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Energy – This is emotional gas that will fuel you on your road to success. The more energy you emit, the more it will rub off on others and will convince them of your dedication to what ever the goal is you are striving for. Energy, excitement, and determination, they all seem to go hand in hand.
Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even * For he watches for your soul
Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher.
John 3:5 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit , he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Communication Skills – Communicate with others as well as yourself. Share your vision with others and it will energetically transferred. Connect and create repore with people, It unites us with others. People keep their guarded walls up to those only whom they don’t know. The Bible even speaks of having a good report of those without. We need to constantly be reaching out to everyone with a heart of love.
Luke 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges , and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly : and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
Inner Discernment -
To be able to place you pride, flesh, and feelings aside. To have a craving for the knowledge of being right or wrong.
Many people can be shown the error of their ways but they are unable to place their pride to the side and change. Some would rather bury up in a lie than be carried to the truth.
A true champion will desire to go beyond his/her feelings, throw caution to the wind, reach out for true knowledge and thus they will move up in the world. They are the ones who put themselves out so they might reach a higher plateau of understanding and wisdom.
If you have a desire; I mean a no-holds barred, give it to me gun - barrel straight, desire for the knowledge of right and wrong then you have met one of the criteria for being a true champion.
You can not fix that which is not broken or I should say you can never fix that which is not KNOWN to be broken. Some may know that the roof is leaking but are too embarrassed to either fix it themselves or ask for help. If you put your pride to the side, your roof can be fixed. If your pantry has no food and your too prideful to ask for assistance then death by starvation is on you! Remember that Satan plants those thoughts in your head of being all alone and no one cares. Satan desires for you to do without (physical or spiritual) so don’t give him the satisfaction. Bust him in the mouth and go on for Jesus!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this issue of BEACON In The Night. I pray that you receive what you need to battle the forces of evil. As my grandmother used to say “Get all you can, and can all you get”. !!
Just remember that even though everyday is a battlefield it doesn’t have to be a bone yard, especially when they might be your bones. With every last breath you have in you, never give up, never give in, never give out.
